Who we are

What this website collects, and why

When you send the contact form. Your name, company (if you give it), email address and message. We use them only to answer you. The message reaches us by email through Resend, our email delivery provider, and is kept in our business mailbox (Google Workspace). Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

When you ask for a free resource. Your email address. We use it to send you the file and occasional updates, and every email carries an unsubscribe link. The list is held by Kit, our email platform. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

When you book a call. Booking runs on Calendly, which collects your name, email address and the answers you give in the booking form, and passes them to us so we can prepare the call. Legal basis: the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract.

When you open a private report. If a report is protected by a passphrase, unlocking it sets one strictly necessary cookie that keeps that report open in your browser for 30 days. It contains no personal data and is used for nothing else.

When you visit any page. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website.

This website uses no analytics, no advertising cookies and no tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner.

During an engagement

If you work with us, an audit includes calls that we record and transcribe, with your consent, so the report can quote you accurately. Recordings, transcripts and notes are kept only as long as the engagement and its follow-up need them, and deleted on request. Where our work touches personal data your business holds, we sign a data processing agreement before any of it moves, naming every service involved.

Who processes your data

  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Resend (contact form email delivery)
  • Kit (resource emails and updates)
  • Calendly (call booking)
  • Google Workspace (our mailbox)

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept for as long as the conversation needs, and for no more than 24 months unless a working relationship follows. Resource subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Booking details are kept for as long as the meeting and its follow-up need them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time. Write to helloplainseen.com and we will answer within one month.

You can also complain to the Lithuanian supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt), or to the authority where you live or work.
